At TechniShow 2026, Telko Netherlands will present itself under its new name for the first time. Formerly known as Optimol Lubrication, active across the Benelux and France, the company continues to build on more than fifty years of expertise in industrial lubrication and metalworking. The transition to Telko reflects a strengthened international positioning, while maintaining the same technical depth and close customer support the market has relied on for decades.
Visitors will find Telko in Hall 11, stand D.080, where fluid technology is positioned not as a commodity, but as a decisive performance factor in modern manufacturing. In an industry where predictability defines competitiveness, lubrication and metalworking fluids directly influence stability, tool life, dimensional accuracy and sustainability.
The metalworking fluid directly influences how a machining process performs. With Castrol's XBB and XBC technology, we reduce variation, extend tool life and maintain consistent surface quality.
Project Beehive: precision engineered.
One of the key highlights at the Telko stand will be "Project Beehive", the striking five-axis aluminium honeybee developed in collaboration with Ceratizit, Grob and Open Mind. Machined from a 32 kg solid aluminium block down to a final weight of just 6 kg, the honeybee represents 72 hours of highly controlled machining and perfect alignment between tooling, machine dynamics, CAM strategy and fluid technology.
During TechniShow, the project will not merely be displayed, it will come to life. Together with its partners, Telko will host dedicated demo sessions, and visitors will be able to witness the honeybee being machined live at the booth. These live cutting demonstrations will highlight the critical interaction between cutting tools, machine kinematics and metalworking fluid performance.

Complex geometries and delicate structures demand absolute thermal control and consistent lubrication. Under live conditions, Telko will demonstrate how stable fluid performance safeguards surface integrity, dimensional accuracy and tool life, even during demanding five-axis operations.
The metalworking fluid directly influences how a machining process performs. With XBB and XBC, we reduce variation, extend tool life and maintain consistent surface quality. That leads to fewer interruptions and measurable cost reductions.
Castrol XBB and XBC technology: performance and circularity
At the core of Telko’s presentation stands Castrol, with strong emphasis on XBB and XBC technology across the Hysol, Alusol and Techniclean ranges. These advanced formulations are engineered for high-performance production environments where stability is essential. XBB and XBC technology deliver exceptional emulsion stability, controlled foaming behaviour and high biological resistance. The result is reliable cooling, optimised chip evacuation and consistent process behaviour — even under heavy loads.
Leon Verschuren, Sales Manager at Telko Netherlands, underlines the impact: “The metalworking fluid directly influences how a machining process performs. With XBB and XBC, we reduce variation, extend tool life and maintain consistent surface quality. That leads to fewer interruptions and measurable cost reductions.”
A key sustainability advantage is the possibility of reusing treated waste water to prepare new emulsions. Thanks to the robustness of these formulations, processed water can be reintegrated into the system, significantly reducing fresh water consumption and waste volumes without compromising technical performance. Circular fluid management becomes an operational reality.
Factory of the Future
In addition to its presence in Hall 11, Telko also contributes to the Factory of the Future in Hall 10, where 22 technology companies demonstrate fully integrated manufacturing in action.
Here, visitors can witness the strength and stability of Castrol Hysol SL 50 XBB under real production conditions within a connected, automated production chain. The live environment makes clear how stable metalworking fluid performance supports predictable output.
The Factory of the Future will also demonstrate how Memolub Connect Pro automates lubrication of collaborative robots and Cellro automation systems, including elevator units. Lubrication is continuously monitored and controlled, reducing manual intervention and supporting uptime in a fully integrated setting.

Paul Nobels, COO at Telko Benelux and France, emphasises the broader significance. “Manufacturing is moving towards full chain integration. Lubrication must be part of that ecosystem. Whether through high-performance fluids like Hysol SL 50 XBB or automated systems such as Memolub Connect Pro, our objective is to make lubrication predictable, measurable and aligned with production strategy.”
Connected lubrication for Industry 4.0
Across both halls, Telko will present Memolub Connect Pro as a forward-looking solution for smart maintenance. Equipped with LoRaWAN and Bluetooth connectivity and AI-driven diagnostics, the system detects anomalies such as blockages or abnormal back pressure at an early stage and transmits real-time data to a cloud platform. This enables proactive maintenance interventions, supporting higher uptime, improved planning and reduced operational risk, all essential elements of predictable manufacturing.

A strengthened position
"TechniShow is more than a trade fair appearance!" stated Thomas Dieu, Marketing Director Benelux & France at Telko. “Under the Telko name, we reinforce our commitment to the market while continuing the legacy built as Optimol Lubrication in the Benelux and France. With Castrol's XBB and XBC technology, Project Beehive and connected lubrication solutions, we demonstrate how fluid technology actively drives manufacturing performance.”
At TechniShow 2026, Telko Netherlands makes one message unmistakably clear: fluid technology is not a secondary consideration. It is a decisive element in the factory of the future, where integration, sustainability and predictable performance converge.
