A world leader in bearing manufacture was seeking to improve its production lines. The company agreed to trial Castrol Hysol SL 35 XBB for rollers (dia. 20 to 56mm) face and centreless grinding at a concentration of 4–5% for approximately five weeks in a
small central system (2,000l).

SOLUTION

The trial was a success. There were no problems with bio-attack and the performance was improved. The trial KPIs were met and,
